Kelly Reay

Kelly has been the Artistic Director of Sage Theatre since July of 2004. He has directed three Betty Mitchell Award winning productions with Sage Theatre: Drinking in America (2004), Blowfish (2005), and Trainspotting (2006). Prior to his work with Sage Theatre, Kelly worked with numerous theatre companies across Western Canada. Career highlights include receiving the Betty Mitchell Award for outstanding direction in 2007 for his production of Trainspotting.
Kelie Jensen

Kelie joined Sage Theatre as General Manager in 2005 and became an Artistic Associate in 2007. She is an arts administrator, actor and playwright and loves working with such a passionate and fiesty little company. Kelie grew up in New Zealand and spent two years living in London, UK, before making her home in Calgary in 2001.
She is a graduate of the University of Calgary Drama program, has a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University in New Zealand, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and works the other half of the week at Alberta Views magazine. Kelie's first play, Mapping Loss, was produced as part of Sage Theatre's inaugural IGNITE! festival in 2005. Selected acting credits include The Libertine and One For The Road (UofC); The Dove and Dog Days (Nickle & Dime) and Focus Light (Canada Japan Filmmaking Assn.).
Cameron Falkenhagen

Cameron is a classically trained engineer and Betty Award winning composer/sound designer. He is an active member of Calgary's performing arts community, and his work in theatre and film has been heard across the country.
Geoffery Ewert
Geoffrey joined Sage Theatre as an Artistic Associate in 2004, and works as an actor, writer, and director. His work has been seen across the continent, ranging from New England to the Yukon. Prior to joining Sage Theatre, Geoffrey was a founding member of Edmonton's Etcetera Theatre Collective - a company based on creating diverse new works through a collective process. In addition to his work with Sage Theatre, Geoffrey also maintains a busy freelance career, pursuing various theatre, film, television, and teaching opportunities. Geoffrey holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Alberta.
Adrienne Smook

Adrienne is a Calgary based theatre professional, and is extremely proud to be a part of the Sage Theatre family.
The majority of her time is spent on stage. Some of her favorite credits include The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek (Sage Theatre), The Optimists and The Edible Woman (Theatre Junction), The Alan Parkinson's Project (Ghost River Theatre), Amadeus (Alberta Theatre Projects) and Wait Until Dark (Vertigo Theatre). Adrienne loves working with emerging artists and is passionate about creating opportunities for the next generation of theatre artists. She is a drama instructor with Quest Theatre, Storybook Theatre, The River City Shakespeare Festival, and The Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts. Adrienne is the Festival Director for Sage Theatre's IGNITE! ~ Calgary's Next Generation Arts Festival. Up next she will be appearing in Sage Theatre's My Name is Rachel Corrie, and Theatre Calgary's Enchanted April.
Ellen Close

Ellen is an actor, playwright, and administrator. Since graduating from the Acting Program of the National Theatre School, she has appeared in Dog from the Machine: Arm's Length Embrace (Downstage) and Forever Yours, Marie Lou (theatre bsmt). She also wrote and acted in The Stranger Series and assistant directed Wedgie (TheatreBOOM). Favourite credits at NTS include a collective adaptation of Crime and Punishment and two new plays, The Yellow Bird and Gashlycrumb, created under the direction of Ker Wells. Ellen also works for Learning Through The Arts as an artist-educator, and is the Coordinator of Special Projects for the Downstage Performance Society.
