Synopsis:

IGNITE! is proud to highlight three Albertan choreographers in an extended dance program.

Barbara Kozicki (Crossfield) creatively combines the Maori art of poi with her own movement in Astrid Calling, involving a character's unorthodox choice to achieve closeness with God.

MaskedMemory by Linda Turnbull (Edmonton) explores memory and vulnerability. "If you've never experienced anything, you've never had a chance to forget it."

Choreographed by Aviva Fleising (Calgary), Nature of Things blends hip hop, jazz, and African with theatre, in a comical journey through human attraction.

IGNITE! wonderfully combines artists' creativeness from across the province in different dance genres. Enjoy!
