Sage Theatre is accepting submissions for our eighth annual presentation of the Ignite! Festival for Emerging Artists.
Ignite! features new works of theatre, dance, music, and visual art. The Festival offers emerging professional artists the opportunity to work together alongside local industry professionals to rehearse, shape, and present new works for a lively Festival audience. Artists experience many training/learning opportunities, from mentorship to dramaturgical services, workshops and networking.

Send us your scripts or proposals for new work 2 to 55 minutes for:
- Ignite! Mainstage: Features new works by Emerging Professional Playwrights ranging from 40 to 55 minutes in length
- Ignite! Shorts: Features new works by Emerging Professional Playwrights ranging from 2 to 25 minutes in length
Creators and Ensembles
Send us your scripts or proposals for new work 2 to 25 minutes for:
- Ignite! Shorts: Features workshop presentations of creations ranging from 2 to 25 minutes in length
- Proposals for multidisciplinary work (collaborations between different art forms) are also welcome
Directors, Designers, Stage Managers, Technicians
Innovative and creative directors, designers, stage managers and technicians
- Applications may be submitted for the Festival in general or attached to a specific project

Actors and Performers
Performance artists and actors in the early stages of their career
