What Perdita lacks in social graces, she makes up for in her mastery of the aesthetic arts; and this compromise has served her well, until she discovers that she has misplaced her mind. Lost in a mystifying wonderland, and accompanied by an outlandish guide named Echo, Perdita must piece together who she is in order to find her way out. Not an easy task when youíve spent your life trying to be someone else. FUGLY is an absurd comedy that reflects on the ugly truth of our superficial fixations.

Sink Hole: An Exploration of Gravity by Ember Dance Company (Contemporary/Funk) - Sink Hole,Ē aims to explore the idea of the forces of gravity. I was inspired by the idea and visual aesthetic of the gravitational forces on our planet, translated into moving bodies. The piece consists of three Movements: Sink Hole, Anti-Grav, and Funnel. The challenge in this exploration is to give the impression of different gravitational forces, even though our dancers are experiencing consistent gravity throughout the piece.

The Hudson Bay Epic &
Places We Will Never Go
The Hudson Bay Epic by Genevieve Pare and Ian MacFarlane
The Hudson Bay Epic is an adventure love story set against the frigid backdrop of Henry Hudsonís fourth and final attempt to find the northwest-passage, when his ship got stuck in the ice. Ride the pseudo-historical roller coaster of forbidden love, secret identities, mutiny and folk magic. Two actors portray seven characters, while providing a live soundscape on an acoustic ship made entirely out of found materials. Come watch our mysterious Canadian history come to life through a tale of two intimate companions who find freedom amongst the whales.

Come with us on a whirlwind journey through imaginary places! In this performance creation, we investigate the visceral connections between travel, desire, and our experience of place.
