Anton deGroot

Anton is a Calgary-born musician, director, designer, and performer with a BFA from the University of Calgary. He is a member of the Dog from the Machine Creative Ensemble with the Downstage Performance Society, a company he co-founded in 2004. Selected credits include: Ilsa: Queen of the Nazi Love Camp, Five Hole: Tales of Hockey Erotica, Garden Cities of To-Morrow (One Yellow Rabbit); Dog From the Machine: Arms-Length Embrace, Man Out of Joint, pppeeeaaaccceee, This Is For You Anna, A Line in the Sand, Prometheus Bound, Habitat (Downstage); Trainspotting (Sage Theatre); and Marabou Stork Nightmares (Mob Hit Productions). This June, Anton will be working with Bruce McCullough and the Rheostatics as a part of the One Yellow Rabbit Twenty-Fifth Silver Anniversary.
