Gwen Kroon-Tellier was born in Calgary in 1958 and has spent most of her life in the Calgary area. At present, her home and studio is in Standard, Alberta. Gwen has been painting for over 20 years and is mostly self-taught except for numerous “Continuing Education” courses in oil, watercolor and acrylic. As well, she has a certificate course in multi-media from the Alberta College of Art and Design and 2 years instruction from Canadian Artist/Photographer Terrence Andrews.
