Suzanne Piechotta is a recent grad from the Alberta College of Art and Design. Her work creates conversations about paint as physical object without the supports of canvas and frames. The thickly “Decra-Caked” paintings mold and morph to their locations highlighting quarks and flaws of their surroundings creating a closer relationship with the pre-existing structure, location and viewer.
