Currently Derek is acquiring his MFA in theatrical design at the University of Calgary, where he spent the past season working as assistant to the production manager, as well as designing for the Taking Flight festival. Previous credits include: Politiko (Ghost River), Arms Length Embrace (Downstage), Macula (Maple Salsa), Henry VI (Shakespeare Company), Never Swim Alone (U of C), Oleanna (Ground Zero), and Neruda Nude (Maple Salsa).
