Tina Guthrie graduated from U of C’s BA Dance Program in 2000 and has also studied at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, Banff Centre for the Arts, Alberta Ballet, and the National Ballet School of Canada. Career highlights include training with the late Gregory Hines and Buster Brown in New York City, and Jump Rhythm Jazz Project in Chicago. Along with teaching and performing, Tina has choreographed for Alberta Dance Explosions in Calgary and Alberta feats-Festival in Edmonton. Most recently, Tina has been nationally broadcasted as a dancer for Shaw and most importantly, spends her days playing with her daughter, Jacqueline.
