Brighton Gordon is an actor at the end of his rope. When Meg Lamont appears one evening and saves his show, he thinks she is a godsend. But when she tells him she is literally sent from a mystical being, he must face not only his own doubts and dreams, but the concerns of his fiancee and his manager as he charts a new course between madness and inspiration.
