David and his partner Katherine return home after 3 years studying abroad. In a time of personal change and confusion for both of them, David suddenly finds himself cheating – with a man! Through his attempt to live a truthful life, Unknown Pleasures explores contemporary relationships and the hetero/homo divide through the decisions made and lives lived in urban Alberta. It poses the question, Is desire a slippery thing, or the heart of our personality? A sexy play that offers few answers, Unknown Pleasures dives bravely into the search for love and happiness.
